Sourcing Manager
Summary The Sourcing Manager will work in conjunction with Product Management, Finance, Engineering, Quality, Operations and Logistics organizations to act as the primary contact for product sourcing and new product development within the supply base, while developing new sources of supply as required. They will also lead a team managing their own commodities and/or new product development projects.
This position is responsible for purchasing activities related to product development projects and driving supplier risk mitigation. The role requires experience developing global commodities and consumer goods as well as supply chain strategies in support of the category. The Sourcing Manager will enable us to meet time-to-development/time-to-production goals, while managing total cost of ownership to a minimum. The position also requires an understanding of how fluctuations of the global market, changing technologies and commodity trends (risks and opportunities) will impact Weber-Stephen Products LLC.

Works well with minimal supervision in a mutually supportive, collaborative, fast-paced team environment. Performs a broad scope of work assignments to accomplish business team objectives. Develop, foster and enhance multi-departmental relationship(s) between Weber - Stephen Products and key suppliers.
